The Gauge #1 Live SteamersThe folks who like model live steamers are going to enjoy this page. I have left the pictures in a large format so you will be able to study every detail of these interesting little machines. There is also a very large collection of short video clips of this day's "steam up" activities. This whole presentation is over 100 megs! This "steam up" Occured on November 1, 2003 at the home of John Thomson in Mesquite, Texas. John has since moved from this location. This page is a great memory of that very fun day. You will see that the models and the locomotive action are great attention getters. But don't miss the fact the the people are at least half of the reason a steam up like this is so enjoyable. Pay attention to how the colors and shadows change as the day grows longer. All the still and video was shot with my Sony DSC- F707 digital camera. |
