Here are my digital cameras. They took these portraits of each other. The "Oly" has been my workhorse for many years. In December 2001 it was partnered with the 5 megapixel Sony.

The Sony has far better resolution. However, for WEB pictures of the size here, you can see the Oly holds its own. There is a difference in the photos if you know what to look for.

For printing and larger formats, the Sony can't be beat.

An interesting fact is that both cameras cost about the same when purchased. There is about 7 years between them.
